Thank You TCA
Dear TCA,
4 years and 7 months ago, I was at a place where all Americans don't want to be but most Americans are. I was over $20,000 deep in credit card debt and had no feasible way out. I was getting weekly collection calls from 7 "SEVEN" different credit cards and also from my auto financer. At the time I accumulated this debt, I was looking for a job and had a car note but no steady income. I was grateful for the credit cards because they got me through. However, I was irresponsible and didn't realize that I needed to work harder to make money. If that meant working 2 or 3 different jobs, I ignored doing that because I didn't want to lose my social life. In the end, it cost me much more and I still ended up loosing my social life. I basically lived like I still had my $45,000 job but I was only made $14,000 that year. In that, you have the difference and the reason I accumulated such a debt that seemed insurmountable.
I considered declaring bankruptcy but because of my strong Christian upbringing, I knew that I was young enough to step up and take responsibility for my debt with God helping me along the way. It was my debt and my debt alone. Then one of my creditors referred me to your organization. After a debt analysis, I was presented with the opportunity to finally make the madness stop. It was a long, hard road but it was the noble one and TCA helped me take it. For 5 years I made payments of $650 a month and the payments were very difficult to keep up at first because I wasn't making a lot of money. But I stuck with it and after a while the payments got easier and easier. I started working a second job and the debt seemed to get smaller and smaller. On April 4th, 2008 I made my last payment to TCA who in turn set me free from an overall debt that equaled $34,390.17 including interest.
I wanted to thank TCA so much for the 5 years of excellent service they have provided to me. If it wasn't for them, I would still be paying the debt off and would not be free today. Now I have a greater outlook on the future because I know now that I don't need credit cards. I can budget and live without them and apply the same rules TCA and the Budget Doctor taught me. I hope TCA will post this so others can see how much they have helped me over the years.
For those of you out there that need help please know that TCA is here for you. They will keep in touch with you and even call just to see how everything is going. If you want to get rid of your credit card debt once and for all, you need to pick up the phone and call TCA TODAY!!!!!! It will be the best decision you'll ever make. I know it was the best decision I ever made.
