Mary Hall
Chief Operating Officer
Mary Hall, co-founder of Take Charge America, serves as the chief operating officer. She oversees human resources, standards development, quality assurance and support services. She is also an active member of the board of directors.
Hall has designed numerous employee programs that support ethics, positive culture, fairness and social responsibility. Her efforts to improve the workplace and culture contributed to recognitions such as the Phoenix Business Journal’s "Best Places to Work" and the Presidential Award for Volunteerism. In addition, Hall, a Certified Public Accountant, has assisted the organization in developing accounting programs and money management systems.
Hall is serving her fifth year on the board of directors for the Greater Phoenix Better Business Bureau. She chairs the Accredited Business Committee and serves as secretary for the Executive Committee. She previously served on the board of trustees for the Grammy Award-winning Phoenix Boy’s Choir for three years, serving as chair during her final year.
As a testament to Hall’s commitment to improving financial literacy, The University of Arizona Alumni Association honored her with the Distinguished Citizen Award in 2008. In addition, she is a 2009 Vistage Member and currently pursuing her Master’s of Nonprofit Studies at the Arizona State University Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation.
